Hyundai Verna is one of the most famous C-segment cars in India. Despite the fact that it has not been as popular as the Honda City, it has gained a good share of the market nevertheless. The Verna has received many upgrades in the past making it the way it is now.
The addition of the Fluidic design language has been one of the most significant factors in the sedan’s tenure in India. The new generation of the model (upcoming) is just one step ahead of what we have seen so far. The good just gets better. It will be largely based on the concept model, which the company had already showcased at the Beijing Motor Show in 2016.
So let’s take a look at the new generation car, the 2017 Hyundai Verna and find out some interesting facts about it and everything else that we must know about it.

The exterior highlights
The most highlighting changes in the car will be the addition of a large hexagonal grille with horizontal slats instead of the thin strips of a grille. The degree of the wraparound headlamps has been higher along with new projector headlamps. The rear bumper is now more sculpted with a bigger boot.

The new version will get a 5-inch or a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto connectivity. On the other hand, the successful Maruti Suzuki Ciaz just has Apple CarPlay whereas the leader Honda City has none of them.
The 2017 Hyundai Verna will be getting a refreshed version of the previously given petrol engine. The 1.6-litre Direct Injection, Gamma, four cylinder engine will now be capable of making a maximum power of 132 bhp and a peak torque of 161 Nm. Along with this, there will also be a 1.40litre VTVT petrol engine. In the case of diesel, there will be two engines to choose from in the form a 1.4-litre and a 1.6-litre CRDi engines.
